Simply without guidance and training, dogs will behave according to their natural animal instincts and behaviors.
For an example, it's NOT instinctual for a dog to know to eliminate in the yard versus the living room carpet or to ignore food on the table. They must be taught to do so.

All training programs regardless of type require one thing: follow the training protocals.
Each Boot Camp course comes with:
1. Boarding and Brush Up, Training for your dog until it turns 10 years old (as long as the dog is healthy and does not pose a danger to the staff). This means that if you choose to board the dog at our facility while you are out of town. This service is available at any of our kennel locations. Simply pay the special board rate for "K-9's" and let us know how many days you would like your dog's training to be reviewed Mon-Fri. For current charges please call us. This represents on going reinforcement of the dogs training at a fraction of the original training price. There is a one week minimum and 30 day maximum for this service and it is subject to availability. Advanced reservations are suggested. This means that you may in fact receive on going training services at a price no higher than you would pay to board your dog in a regular boarding facility. In addition, you have the added advantage of having your dog worked with and taken care of by a staff that is very familiar with his temperament and his needs.
2. Every Boot Camp course comes with up to once per month field lessons for the first year after the training. This means that you can simply call the kennel facility and set an appointment with your trainer.These lessons are offered for 1/2 the rate of charge for the first 6 months from your dogs training start date. Lessons must be taken no closer than three weeks from the previous lesson and no more than once per calendar month. Lessons are subject to trainers schedules and alternate trainers may be substituted in the case of schedule conflicts or trainer absence or illness. Field lessons are conducted at the training facility. Home training may be subject to additional charges.
What does it mean when you hear your full given name, spoken by your parents? It does not matter if you where born on earth it means one thing--YOU'RE IN TROUBLE. Your dog's name must be a welcoming and praising name, never a negative. If you have to have a nick name for when they mess up.
You even wonder why you dog hesitates when you say their name--this could be a key factor.
